I am a certified holistic health coach and hold a BA in Law and Psychology, plus a post-graduate diploma in Journalism. I worked in the media industry for more than 20 years as an analyst, journalist and magazine editor and loved it. But, eventually, too many late nights and weekends spent working on my laptop began to wreak havoc with my health. My eating was erratic (hands up, fellow stress eaters!) and exercise was something that only happened in my head. I was tired, frazzled and not my usual vibrant self. Plus, my body had started to shout: think muscle spasms, hormone disruptions, sky-high cortisol levels and weight gain. Change was necessary, so I decided to start fresh and follow a lifelong interest in integrative health and wellness.

I gained my health coaching qualification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the world’s largest nutrition school, where I was trained in more than 100 dietary theories.

At the same time as studying nutrition, I immersed myself in complementary therapies and energetic body work and qualified as a Reiki Master and BodyTalk practitioner. I offer these incredible healing modalities as part of my programmes, or as a separate services altogether. You can find out more here.

I continue to feed my thirst for knowledge with courses focused on functional nutrition, environmental toxins and alternative therapies such as Access Bars. I’m also studying (and loving!) the psychology of eating and work with many clients to understand mindful and intuitive eating – approaches that work better than any diet!

Health coach and student status aside, I am a wife and mother of two amazing young girls. I’m also a huge fan of music, movies and dance, and read avidly. I love to take long walks and aspire to be a strong, flexible yogi (who feels at peace in lycra!)
