Hi, I’m Nicole, a holistic health coach, BodyTalk practitioner, Reiki master and journalist. My mission is to help people like you find your real health happiness. Imagine feeling vibrant, confident, beautiful and strong. Imagine living life in a body you love. Perhaps you want to eat better, lose weight, gain energy or manage stress before it manifests into illness. Whatever your individual goals, I’ll help you to find balance between body, mind and soul.
So what exactly is a holistic health coach? I am a mentor and motivator; a mind/body wellness expert who works with clients on all levels to help them feel their best. Instead of prescribing a one-size-fits-all solution to healthy living, I offer practical tools and simple, sustainable solutions that suit your unique situation. You’re an individual after all and what works for others won’t necessarily work for you.
I don’t create lists of restrictions or good and bad foods (that not even I can stick to!). Rather, I work with you to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is fun, flexible and free of deprivation.
Naturally, nutrition is one of my key focuses. Food impacts how we look, think and feel every second of every day. It has an incredibly powerful ability to harm or heal – yet real food has been largely forgotten and (so many) conflicting dietary theories have made it difficult for people to know what to eat. Work with me and I’ll clear the confusion!
I don’t believe in restrictive diets, nor do I advocate counting calories, excluding food groups or following crazy fads. I love food – and so should you! Rather, my mantra is moderation, because balance is the secret to whole happiness. That being said, I know what it’s like to fear eating, to obsess about my weight, to not love my body.
I’ve learned (the hard way) that willpower means very little when it comes to looking and feeling great – and that dieting (and bouncing from one food trend to another) – is actually a guaranteed way to gain weight. Instead, the secret to success is making small tweaks that you can build on over time; in other words, healthy habits (not rigid rules!) that you actually enjoy. And that’s precisely what I’ll help you do.
Of course, real wellness is about far more than feeling healthy, fit and toned. It’s also about feeling calm, clear and connected in your head and heart, and having a life you love.
